I'm thinking of staying in Jomtien on my next trip but have no idea where to look. What kind of places would be nice for about 1000 Baht? I'd like to have easy access to the baht bus line too.

Try www.silversandvilla.com...nice hotel, girl friendly, no extra cost for girl, two pools, and depending on the time of year and length of stay, 700 to 1000 per night. Adjacent to the beer bars of soi Whitehouse, many restaurants, and on the baht bus route.
