Are Best Beach Villas guest friendly?

Guys, I have searched the forum and have been unable to find out if Best Beach Villas on Soi 5 are guest friendly. Can anybody help me out please?

One thing that really turns me off, and I would not do is.....make a money transfer to their bank account for 50% of the anticipated charges.

If they can't put in a secure CC guarantee payment system, or take your baht on check in, I will pass on them.

It is the 21st Century right? (even in Thailand)

The last time I walked by they had cleared the land next to them so you might have some construction noise.

I stayed there last year and was initially reluctant to send them the 50% deposit but i did and was glad i did. If they have space they tend to upgrade you to the category above what you paid for. Very good rooms and friendly service. Guest friendly but not an out and out mongering hotel. I checked in alone but was given breakfast vouchers for two. Mixture of asian and western guests.
