How do you "quote" only selected passages or sentences when making a post response and have that "quote" show up in the shaded, quotation mark framed box?

All sorts of neat things you can do once the quote window opens up as the entire window can be edited.

Hit the quote button and when the message window opens you can edit the quoted text as well as add your own. You can highlite the specific part you want to respond to and then color it or delete all but that part. You can delete the entire post between

[/quote.] and enter your own text. That's considered bad form, but you can do it. Where it does come in handy is if you want to quote a post with many pictures you can delete the links to the pictures and just leave the text, or just leave the one picture you want to comment on.

You may have to play with it a bit to get the results you want but it's not hard to pick up.
