Hi. Looking for a LHR/BKK flight for mid April, and Jet Airways seem to keep coming back with the cheapest fares. Bit of an unknown quantity to me, so does anyone have any experience or info on them, please? One thing that's an issue for us is the 9.30am departure from LHR, as it makes travelling from the Midlands a bit difficult. Thanks very much for any help.

Use'd 'em last time in January. The first leg to Bombay is quite long whereas the leg to Swampy is about two hours. Food good, fairly good ethnic curry... quite a long walk between departure gates at Bombay...fairly officious security at Bombay, one poster mentioned being told to button up his shirt there I read Hilly liked 'em I read somewhere.... You could check in about an hour and a half before departure at Hrow, the gate isn't flagged till then...Strange thing is Eva is undercutting (with a pm depart timing) all the transit routes at the moment looking at Airnet...4 weeks :Dyeh baby!

Just to say a belated thanks for the reply Flighty. Much obliged. For various reasons I think Eva might be best for us.

Flights about 7 hours then 4 1/2. Good if you are on O/W or if mega cheap Better for direct or Etihad type at up to £1006+ more for sure.

yes i used them back in jan the 1st leg of the flight to mumbai was great had a 777 with loads of room see photo(thats a guy i met on plane) but second leg was in a very cramped 737 caost was £520 back then.
