Diana Inn & Natural Beach Hotel.

Hi.

 

I have been offered a similar discount at the Diana Inn on Second Road and Natural Beach Hotel

on Beach road. Never been to either hotel, I was wondering for those who stayed at either hotel or both what would be your recommendation.

 

Diana Inn require 2000 baht deposit to hold the room.

 

Also, do both hotels require mandatory Id's for your guest check in?

Personally, I would not pay a deposit or holding fee. I want to see the room etc before I pay anything.

 

Having said that, if you are talking about peak tourist season around christmas, you may not have much choice but

to pay up if you want the room held for you.

 

I have stayed at Dianna Inn, quite a few years ago now. Its a great location, but can be very noisy from road traffic unless

you get one of the newer (and more expensive) back rooms. I stopped staying there because of the noise and in my view

lousy staff.

 

Overall I think you can do a lot better. I don't know what price bracket you are thinking of, but a rough guide of B600 in the general area of Soi Honey / Soi LK area will get you a good hotel room with the usual range of facilities. If you want to pay a bit more up to around B1,000 then you get a better standard and more options. Pattaya Bay Resort for instance is closeby and have had some low

I looked at Natural Beach Hotel a few years back. Again great location, but I don't have up to date info.

 

Guest ID policy vary even where they have policies. Sometimes they police it othertime don't.

Diana Inn doesnt have a lift and you'll regret it if you come back one nite all drunk and have to climb to the top floor!
