If you use the 'my dates are flexible' option:

You see the chosen price quoted for your original specific date, ok.

But then use the arrows to view an adjusted itinery and the specific date you chose just before has jumped up in price and changed airline...

:D

But if you go back and click on that previous chosen date the cheap flight you saw first time reappears on the top horizontal list... :whistling:

So probably worth writing things down...
