visa requirement

Hi fellas, and any lasses lookin in o'cos,

first post so i'll chance my arm with a newbie'ish type question.

Hope that this is the right place for it.

Any of you knowledgable blokes out there who might know the current minimum visa requirement in order to be able to register a car in Thailand?

I am guessing that a month satamp on entry will not cut it.
