Walking Street hotels?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm interested in staying close Walking Street.  I stayed at the White Rose 2(?) on a little soi just over from soi Diamond once.  I'm also looking at whether the Diamond Beach hotel is a good one?  Any other suggestions?

Is it difficult to be hard to get a hotel room start of March?  Last time a friend drove me down and I just walked into the hotel and took a room.

thanks!

Diamond Beach hotel is not bad at all,in fact i have booked in again for 26th March.i was there 5 weeks ago and i have no complaints.TG,s have thier ID taken off them when they go to your room, and if you have a regular TG they will eventualy just let her go to your room without ID being handed in, so long as she is with you.I have booked on line this time for 800 Bht a night including B/fast, you dont realy get that much noise from the go go,s.Give it a go. Just a stroll back from Walking St when you are half blind.

Thanks.  I've been and am back home already.  What you describe is almost exactly my experience - after I ended up with a regular they stopped taking her card.  I stayed on the

8th floor which is nice cause you can walk out and look at the bay in the morning.  I'll be staying there again in June.
