Central US to BKK?

Total newbie airline question here... but has anyone had any good fare luck out of the Central US? I am within striking distance of Detroit and Chicago for under $100 on Southwest, and then on from there... Is the cheapest route typically to go SWA to the west coast and then long haul from there? I really appreciate any help!

Ann the owner is not Thai she is from mainland China.  But Doc, that is the kind of reply I would expect from you misinformation at its best. Next you will be saying that you can't you tell the difference because all Asians sound a like to you.

You need to check each airport that you could fly out of. The price varies. I would try and stick with one airline so you can rack up the frequent flyer miles. I try and fly with United. I pay for two trips the third one is free. I get double airmiles.

 

I always check this section first. I've been turned on to some great deals, $179.R/T from JFK to BKK or $335. R/T PHL to SIN.
