Your most expensive flight....

As a follow-up to RD's cheapest flight thread.  What was the most you have paid?

 

For me I paid £960 one-way with BA in November 2001 after bmi cocked up my connection from MAN to my EVA flight from LHR.  The next EVA flight was 48 hours later which didn't impress me at all so I took the plunge and got a seat on BA.  When I got back the insurers paid up in full within 4 days and EVA gave me a flight credit.  BA actually upgraded me to Business but I fell asleep almost straight away and missed the food and drink! :'(

 

For a normal booked flight I have paid £800+ with Emirates over Xmas and the Millenium New Year. :-/

 

No wonder I can't tip like Jimmybb!

evergreen deluxe, about £650.

and if im being honest, it was not worth the extra £, as i usually sleep all the way to thailand.
