I've Just booked a ticket with China Air from UK - Bkk rtn in Business Class for  £862 in Feb 03  ;D ;D ;D

 

I've been told that this is the only way to travel ??

 

What do you think ???

A Lot of people knock China air but the 2 times I have used them thet were fine no problems and on time also.

The China Airlines fare is an economy fare with a purchased upgrade to Dynasy Class.

 

What it means is that you get the full package (lounges etc) from AMS and return from BKK but are restricted to the normal economy baggage of 20 kg.  You do not have use of the lounges in UK.

 

You should join their Dynasty Club online and then book your seats (row 10 for extra legroom) directly with the airline 90 days prior to the date of travel.

 

I am travelling with them in a couple of weeks time and will post my opinions then.

Thanks for the imput Tom, I will try joining the Dynasty Club and booking my seat.

 

Iwill need to check the baggage as I bring my Golf clubs with me  

 

As I'm flying from Newcastle (10 min from my home) which has a quick check-in I can live without the lounge in the uk

 

My mate used then twice last year in Dynasty Class and was very impressd, he normally travels by Emrates.

I`m flying exactly the same route this monday!!!! ncl-ams with klmuk then that same CI66 Dynasty upgrade to BKK!! £804 inc taxes. I shall post a report when I get to LOS. Tom if your in Pattaya before the 27th and wanna meet up, I`d love to shout you a beer, as if it wasn`t for you I wouldn`t be in row 10!!!!

We will arrive on 17th and visit the FLB that evening.  I intend to go with the flow over Loy Krathong and then do the FLB Airlines Party on 23rd.  I am staying at the Sabai Inn; Paul C is there already as the Pathfinder!  Look forward to meeting you and any other guys around at that time.
