mathematics

if you pick 10 and add the digits and then subtract from 10 you get 9

same with 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, etc...you always get 9

if you pick 20 - you wind up with 18..same with 21, 22, etc...always 18

next set is 27...then 36....45...54...63..72..81.

look closely at the symbols...every multiple of "9" is the same symbol (up to 81)

all the calculations wind up being a multiple of nine.....what is really nice is if you perform it over and over...the symbols change...but all the multiples of nine are still the same

It does not know what number you chose....all it knows is that it is a multiple of nine...and all the multiples of nine are the same symbol

yes ok the multiples of 9 but how the fuck does it know what numbers your choosing lol love it

If you look it resets the symbols for the multiples whenever you restart,

giving the same simples for the possible multiples.....tricky..

An interesting post Eric. Simple when it is all explained.

Thanks for putting in a little effort to get this area active again. I loved it when i was a non member.

Here's a little teaser based on the same principle.

Pick a number from one to ten.

Multiply it by nine. Add together the digits of your answer (ie. if you picked 3 your product would be 27. 2+7 = 9)

Subtract 5 from your total. Remember this number.

Now think of the leters of the alphabet. If A=1, B=2, etc; think of the letter relating to your final figure.

Now think of a country beginning with that letter.

Now concentrate on the second letter of your country's name.

Think of an animal beginning with that letter.

Got one?

Exactly.

Moreover, for the sake of a more effective presentation, the multiples of 9 which can not become the result of the quoted calculation, 90 and 99, are the ones drawing your attention the most, 99 being positioned in the uppermost left corner... :D

The true power of presentation and suggestion well illustrated, IMO. :D
