I used Delta miles (60K) to book a flight to BKK last trip to Thailand. I got a flight on NorthWest which is one of their International carriers. I was able to reserve a seat for 14 days and then make changes to the reservation dates. The key is too reservse the best dates you can get. Then call back daily to have them check for better dates. When you get what you want, book it. Once you book to make a change will cost you $50.00. The reservationists are pretty patient but beware, some of the customer service agents will really go out of their way for you and others don't care. You may need to
