Inntown Holiday Inn. I have stayed at Honey Inn... it was ok. I am a budget traveler, so lI look for for that 500-600 bht room. Thanks much Emil... if I am feeling adventurous, I'll do the multi-baht bus switcheroo. :)

Minibuses can really be aggrivating though... one time, BKK to Pat, we spent 2 hours circling BKK, picking up people! Ditto Pat to BKK- an hour circling round Pattaya, and an hour circling in BKK before I was let off, and I wasn't the last! :)

Further inquery: Are there any small parks or nice places to just go lie in the grass, be around trees, etc. I am a bit of a nature lover- doesn't have to be a whole reserve- just a nice little earthy place to hang? thanks

Hey All- I am thinking about relocating to Thailand and am going to do a "trial run" this summer from around June 20th to mid September, and possibly longer, till mid December in Pattaya. I am semi-retired and would like to do some volunteer work while I am there for my visit and keep doing it if I move there....
