Anyone can pull a girl with if you got the money. From what I read from this guy he is a first class asshole. This is a discussion board. So why the hostile attitude toward the originator of the thread. If you dont like the thread move on and quit being such an asshole.....

180 baht seems a bit expensive for Pattaya. I would expect to pay a similiar amount in Canada not that I would be likely to order Banger and Mash.

Thanks for your helpful advise. Wobbly1 that was very thorough indeed. Are you a golfer yourself. We will be there from Jan 9 to about Jan 26. We were planning on joining Pattaya Sport Club for the discounts. Sounds like dropping by one of the mentioned bars and meeting up with the organizers is the way to go especially in the beginning.

Hello Pattaya Golfers About 2 months to my arrival for 3 weeks of golf etc while staying at the Royal Twin Palace on 2nd rd. ALthough I know my way around Pattaya as I have been there before, I have not done any golfing so far. Seems like joining a sports or golf club is a good way to go as we plan to play 8 or 10 games over the 3 weeks. 1. Which is the best golf membership to join. 2. Whats the best way to get to and from golf courses. 3. What are the recommended course keeping in mind value for the Bth. we are both about 10 handicap. Thanks for any member

Hi Sommy; I just got back OTTAWA to BKK Jan 07 to Jan 24. Flew Japan Airlines for $1275 all in, which included $25 for some weekend departure. Itinerary goes through Chicago and Japan. Small seats, decent food, excellent service. Only issue with schedule is the return has a 6HR wait in Japan. Its good to have someone who lives in my part of the world to exchange ideas and prices with. Who are you flying with. KGK

Having been to Pattaya 3 times I have noticed a few things that I hope will help with your questions. 1. Travellors cheque dont get as good and exchange and there can be a fee for exchange. Myself I choose cash and when required I use ATM. Service charge for ATM doesnt really amount to much. 2. As the other post says clothes are small. I look for shorts, shirts etc but I find them hard to find. I wouldnt travel to light. Although things are generally cheaper and some times dirt cheap I wouldnt count on finding a significant portion of your waredrobe requirements that easily. The saving

Just returned from my second visit Pattaya. Fell in love again I was dead tired from the trip home but now I am planning my next trip. Would like to play 4 or 5 games of golf next time. Wonderring how the golfers in the crowd get to and from their Hotels in Pattaya and the various golf courses around the area. Whats the common form of transportation and how much does it cost. KGK from Canada

Although I have stayed in Pattaya a couple of times I have never golfed. I was hoping that I would do some golfing on my next trip. I see that there are many great golf course around Pattaya but what is the recommended way to get to and from the courses. Are any of the hotels offering some form of transportation. How much does it cost for a return trip from the hotels to the course and back. I have read about golf packages that are including hotel and some meals but I thought I would free lance my trip. Any recomendations. 8)
