I have always been a Misty's fan both the old location and new. My first trip from Bahrain I pulled up to the place met Party and LDK, they didn't know me from Caine and off to eat, set me up in the Penthouse and looked out for me and my mass orgy that night. Never have to worry about getting chased down if you forget to pay your bill. People buy you drinks and the music doesn't suck. Have pulled more than my share of multiples and some of the best ST's upstairs I've ever had have been here. To each their own, I don't worry about the cost of drinks, I worry about service and the ownership backing up the bar and ladies. Aren't you in and out of Singapore? I see your schedule and it seems you would be better off getting it done there. We can help you out with some of it. Last time I was in, Sept time frame, was on the side of the stage... Ann walks up, "BJ, come over other side, I have to make show".... I forgot about what that could mean, sit down at the seats next to the front stage and Ann goes to work. Lesbian poo-see eating in all it's technicolor and it's so close it's also in surround-smell!! Yikes, "Here Ann, I'll buy you a drink", and I head out (I had the TGF with me) and it was just a little too much for her, ha!!!! I recommend the Anise. They have a website, excellent room, safe, internet, bar, food, breakfast, bunch of bars in the area. The BEST and I mean BEST real Thai massage I've ever had 100 meters away. All in all good place. I had the King size bed 3rd floor balcony option. BJ

I'll second Sybarite's comment. Sorry, but the girls couldn't compare to a few years back. Misty's was my hangout. Literally the stop out of the taxi and into the Penthouse. Multiples, parties, ringing, lot's of lookers, lesbians but then the mamasans started disappearing. And with them alot of the girls. The most fun I had last trip was with Party's wife, ha! Sorry Party. We were just drinking. Seriously, you need some shake up and new talent. Best of luck, I really would like to make it the haunt again. BJ

Bob's BBQ- Corner 3rd and Central. Supposedly great burgers. Here's my experience: Stop in one afternoon in February for a burger. I'm the only diner in the place. The owner (Bob?) and some farang are sitting there, scheming up a new idea to try to make more money. And talking loudly about it. Side note: Is it only me or does it seem like there are a lot of farangs always trying to get others to go in on some scheme in Pattaya? The wait staff consists of two Thai women, one behind the counter, the other in front taking care of a small child. I order a San Miquel, mushroom cheeseburger and fries. Ok so far. Five minutes pass before she brings out the beer, not overly cold. Ok, I'm starting to feel the vibes but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. At least ten, closer to 15 minutes expire and finally she brings out the burger, but no fries. I ask where they are. "Sorry, I go get them". I try the burger. Dry as the desert and no flavor. Just some meat that was obviously frozen and zero spice. Oh boy, well I'll wait for the fries. They never come. Finally after another 10 minutes. By now the burger is cold, which I started eating with the premonition of waiting. No second beer, screw that. Just something in my gut. Ok, let me get out of here. Now comes the part that really torques me. I go to the counter, "Check bin, khap". She starts writing, and punching on the calculator and again, and talking to the women with the kid, and again, and.... No joke, I waited 3 minutes before I finally held up 200 baht and said, "Is this enough?" She looks at me, nods and takes the money and I leave. I'm about to get in my car around the corner when some farang, (The owner from inside I presume), is yelling at me, "Hey you, you're trying to run out on your bill!". "Excuse me?" He gets this threatening tone on me about running out. So I tell him she said it was enough but whatever, lets go in and see. I get in there and she finally has the bill figured out. About 70 baht more. I flip a 100 at them and say, keep it. It's worth never going in there again. The sad part is the guy sat there the entire time and never got up or corrected the service or helped figure the bill. He just waited to the end to accuse me. Great food, great service. This place has promoted great food all through these forums. Maybe, maybe not. Could it be related to having the food in a bar? I think it is true because when I'm drunk off my as-, I can't tell the difference. Try the Big Mango in Nana. Those guys know how to do it.

I can't help thinking why is a Filipina looking for work in Pattaya? Tourist? Lives there? How? Doesn't she need a work permit or visa? And with all the other 10,000 Thai women in town looking for a job, this can't be an easy quest. t

Just curious as there looks to be a few "girls" pushing the years, not that it's bad, I'm just curious as is it the norm for beer bars in your area? BJ

Also, remember the beach in front is gay. I didn't realize it until my gal and I sat down. Same venders but watching a bunch of guys with young men isn't for me. The hotel is nice. Breakfast not so great. Also have to park in back as the road closes at 10AM which is a minor hassle. BJ
