  1. `Take me to your heart' by MLTR, you can't spend a day in Pattaya without hearing it played in the bars at least a few times, more of a Pattaya anthem than `Hotel California' for the last year or so I think. Listen to the words and it could have been written about Patts.
  2. Had the laser treatment almost 1 year ago, results still good. Not painful at the time but cold beer or even cool air on teeth painful for the next day or two. Also had the scale & polish done just before the laser, this was a very thorough job, took about 45 minutes, laser about 90 minutes. I went to the Sunbeam dental clinic, small place on Soi 8 down the side of Sunbeam hotel. They did the best price I could find at the time, 4000 bht laser, 500 bht scale & polish. The place was spotless and the treatment carried out by the Dentist. One place I enquired at on 2nd Road I think the l
  3. Thanks bigfoot I understand about the safe boxes but mine was already full with wallet/passport/ camera/house keys etc, the safe boxes are small. As you imply, I may be guilty of tempting people by leaving valuables in my room while I'm out. As for the `security' guy, he does fire-watch patrols on a concrete building with integrated fire alarm system, but NEVER checks any ID, yes he's on the ball. It occurred to me that he might be the lookout for the robbing bastards. 20 baht per day as a kind of insurance sounds like one of those scams June Whitfield advertises.
  5. We did make a report to the Police, but I don't know if they followed it up. However I thought that the best way to stop other BM's from being robbed at the Bay Breeze was to post on this Forum.
  6. Booked into Bay Breeze hotel for December as my usuals on soi 7/8 fully booked, also booked a room for a friend travelling with me. After a few days there my friend tells me that some items dissappeared from his room while we were out for the evening, but no sign of a break-in. His TG's mobile which they left to charge, also his Ben Sherman jacket (not a Thai copy) and a pack of Viagra! So I check through my room, no sign of a break-in but my UK mobile is gone. The hotel receptionist didn't seem at all surprised (regular occurrence?) and the manager couldn't have cared less, even insinuating t
