Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I'm thinking of staying here too. I did a search and didn't find anything. Anybody stayed here? -
Haroldshand, thanks for the info. How far of a walk is it to LK Metro? And is there a foodmart or 7/11 close? What about restaurants? I can handle being a distance from the ladies, but not these other things. And what about the baht buses? Thanks again. ---meat

I'm thinking about staying at this place. Has anybody had any experience here? I've seen very positive reviews, but my only concern is that it is out of the way. Would I be better off in the Soi LK metro area?

Mulphy, so you are saying I should jump on Keerati at 850 baht instead of Thai Archer or the new hotel (Paradise?)? Do you know the introductory rates at the new place? Wish I could stay at the Rockhouse... But as you know it's full. cheers---meat

To each his own, but I would not recommend this area. Sure you are "in the middle of the action", but it's easy enough getting here. What's the point of staying here? I'd rather stay somewhere quieter and not have to be haggled by women every time I want to go to 7/11, or take a look around. Just something to consider...

I want to stay in the Soy Bukao/LK metro area in late August for 15 nights. Metro Apartments are full as well as The Rockhouse. Keerati quoted me 650 for small room and 850 for medium during this time. Does this include any weekly rate discount? Are the small rooms adequate, or should I pay the extra 200 baht a night? Furthermore, I really don't care about having room service or a pool. Can I find a better deal in the area, now that my first 2 options have sold out. Thanks a lot, ---meat

Fortune? I'm looking in the 10-20K baht area. With the focus on bang for the baht.

I'm planning on staying in the Pattaya/Jomtien area for 6 months. I want something nice, but I don't want to pay a fortune. Anybody have any good recommendations. Just looking for best overall value considering any and all factors. Thanks, ---meat

Thanks Alan, but how can I obtain a Non Imm O visa in the states? Don't I have to have ties with a business in Thailand among other things? ----meat

I can get a double-entry tourist visa in the U.S. This will allow me 6 months in LOS. But then what do I do? Is it possible to get another tourist visa from a neighboring country? Or will I have to live somewhere else for 3 months?

I've checked out all of the information on this subject, but I'm still confused. If I get a tourist visa in America before I leave, I know this will allow me 90 days (with one visa run). But after the 90 days is over, can I get another tourist visa in a neighboring country? And what about a double-entry tourist visa (180 days), how can this be obtained in the US, what about neighboring countries? Thanks again...

I'm 40 years old and want to live in Thailand for 3 years. Is this going to a problem with the new rules? Can I pull this off? Any help is greatly appreciated...
