Here is my 2 cents on "The Irish Rovers". I have just spent the last 10 days there and I will TRY to make this a review of The Rovers and not a trip report. -The Rooms- Probably the best guest house rooms around. Wonderful maid service, very clean bathrooms, big fridge, good air con. ect... I was worried about the noise from LK but there was none. -The Restaurant- There are many fine places to eat around the area and I tried a lot of them. Rovers is on par with any of them. Good menu, reasonable prices, cute waitresses. -The Bar- Once again there are many places to eat and drink in the area and I tried most of them. The Rovers made me feel welcome from the start and there was always someone to have a drink with at the bar. Prices were on par with most places. -The Golf- Pat and Ian put together excellent golf packages which I took advantage of. They choose quality courses and combine it with a couple of great meals and the mandatory bar crawl to Ban Chang after the golf. It makes for a great day and is something that should not be missed. -The Staff- I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the staff they have working in the bar. You dont need to leave the hotel to find quality girls. The cashiers are second to none. Pat, everyone will miss you but I am sure Ian and Dom will succeed. I plan on making the Rovers my permanent base camp on all my future Pattaya trips. Thanks for the great time!!! Rocky

Expensive but a sure bet." or this one: It takes no effort anywhere in Pattaya; aside from a lady drink. or was it this one: But I doubt that it is for very many people, really. For most guys, it's a do-it-once dealie, like the soapy with the rubber mattress. Sounds like you had your mind made up already... have fun!

i stayed at Dennis the menace in April. Very nice rooms but loud as fuck. Too loud.
