  1. aguy2006, I was thinking of staying 30+ days in a standard room. So, even numbered rooms is on the quiet side of the hotel (also include standard rooms)? Would be nice to have it confirmed. Yes, I know that the standard room is mall, but that don't bother me :)
  2. Every day sounds good. Then I could enter the values in Excel and make some good stats based on a set amount of aircon, TV and shower usage. Kidding I would propably check it when check-in and maybe every week :) Thanks!
  3. Can the electricity be controlled/tracked, or do we have to trust the staff? Thanks for info regarding the restaurant.
  4. 1. I would like to know the same (standard room, one month). Also: 2. What is the cost of extra fresh linen? 3. What pricerange/quality of the restaurant (like, how much is breakfast)? 4. I understand that it's not recomended to get a room beneath the gym, because of the noise. Do you have any other comments regarding room placement (sun, noise, for example)? BTW, great photos :) Thanks!
  5. How often does really drunk people make sense?? :) But, I kinda felt sorry for the bride This should have been her happiest day of her life... Happy New Year Cookie!
  6. Hi, Just a little request from a newbie. I have used forums (BB's) for many years (and runs a large one) and the most normal smilie is without a doubt the standard: :) This is the image: This is allready used as a "post icon". Link address: http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/style_im...icons/icon2.gif I see that you have most other smilies :) but not the "standard" one. Thanks! :)
  7. Shuggy and jesper_dk, Thanks for that information! Too bad that hotels (most) don't have a solution for people using laptops. It's often the most expencive item we take with us. I have seen one hotel in Pattaya that has a wall mounted connection point for a Kensington lock (a steel wire). Unless the girls don't carry a wire cutter or are strong enough to break the wire from the computer, it would propably be kinda safe ( http://no.kensington.com/html/11937.html ). Unfortunately this would make the laptop quite visible in the room, and therefore guests or staff could come later with the t
  8. Would also be nice to have some more photos of the rooms (including the bathrooms), outside and inside (reception etc.). And be able to click on them for fullsize/bigger photo (on their website). No big thing, just a suggestion :) Could anyone help me with these questions?: 1. Is the in-room safe big enough for a laptop? 2. Does the 24/7 security include ID-checking the guests? I could email them, but then maybe someone could have the same questions. Thanks!
  9. Thanks Kevin for some great reading. Hope you get some well earned rest between the battles. The life you live reminds me a little of the life of a farmer; Full days of work (never actually off), new challenges all the time and good/bad experieces by the guests (read cows). Only you don't have to send your guests to the butcher. PS! Your hotel is now on my list of good places to stay (I have never been to TOS).
