I used to own a condo in VT Residence 1 we always had a motorbike so no problem but if you use the baht buses you have a short 2-5 min walk to the main drag then load of buses. However it wa quick dark and deserted walking there late at night. Never had any problems though. The accomodation is nice but for the price I think you can find somewhere closer to the action, depends what you are after. Also I think they are still building the other VT residences so could be noisy?

I could live on £15,000 a year easy like marley boy says I live on less than that now (although I have free accommodation and cheap food from work). I couldn't live the holiday life style on that but I wouldn't want to. The sweet is not as sweet without the sour so I think it would be party time at the weekend and then chill during the week. All this is just plans though and you know what happens to them.

Book your air ticket now if it is cheaper than normal but you don't need to book your hotel yet. I like to just turn up and grab a room when I get there.
