    Well! What do you think?
  1. Black Caviar was to race in Perth on the other side of Australia this Saturday, but she finished up a bit sore in her last race so Peter Moody (her Trainer) scratched her. She will have one more run in Australia at the end of January and then in June at Royal Ascot in the UK. Frankel here she comes.
  2. I fail to see how she is rated behind Frankel who has only won 9 races and she has won 16 from 16 starts? Maybe it is the old problem of the English never accepting a Colonial can do better. Afterall, she has her name in the record books and the others don't!
  3. Today, racing at Flemington in Melbourne, Black Caviar running in the One Million Dollar Patnick Farm Stakes won her 16th race out 16 starts by 3 lengths in a canter. Where are the doubters now?
  4. French horse 'Dunaden' today won the 2011 Melbourne Cup of 3200m at Flemington Race Course in the closest ever margin in the race's history, from another French horse 'Red Cadeaux'. You can see the race here: http://au.sports.yahoo.com/racing/news/article/-/11226666/dunaden-continues-cups-french-revolution/
  5. It really ended up running against a bunch of donkeys. The problem now with Black Caviar, if she enters a race, most of the form horses withdraw.
  6. Garth Tander just beat Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy in the shortest margin in the race history of .282 seconds after travelling 1,000 kms. All 3 drove GM Holdens. In-fact, 6 out the Top Ten Finisher were Holdens along with 4 Fords in Race Record Time. The best Ford could do was 4th, nearly a Lap behind the winners. http://yahoo.carsales.com.au/news/2011/sports/motorsport-bathurst-top-ten-shoot-out-favours-murphy-27116
  7. But he says he will have to leave on the 30th.
  8. If he leaves on the 30th, it will already be late afternoon in Thailand. Remember he has to cross the International Date Line. I've flown from Australia to L.A. and it may only take 14 hours, but you arrive 2 hours before you leave. Coming back, you arrive 2 day's after you left. If he leave on the 30th he'll arrive on the 1st.
  9. Given that you can't leave until the 29th US Time, you'll be lucky to get to Thailand in time.
  10. Same here at Flemington (for our USA friends Flemington is where the Melbourne Cup is run). Your lucky, here she paid only a $1.10. Glad you enjoyed your day.
  11. Frankly, your Istabraq wouldn't stand a chance. Afterall, hurdlers are failed gallopers. Black Caviar won by her narrowerest margin last Saturday - 3 lengths - she usually wins by 10. There has never been any claim that the Mafia was involved in the death of Phar Lap. In-fact only last year scientists proved he died of Natural Causes, but was ill. Phar Lap was a New Zealand horse, not Australian, but raced here most of his career. He was purchased for 200 Guinees as a colt.
  12. Well has your Istabraq got it's name in the record books? I don't think so and never will.
  13. Yesterday at Randwick Race Course in Sydney, the Mare Black Caviar made world history winning her 12th race in 12th starts. At the turn she was 4 length lengths behind the leader and won by 3 lengths over the 2nd placed horse and 6 lengths back to third. It was her first start outside outside Victoria and first running the wrong way. She may go to Europe or Japan, but because of Quarantine Laws, you won’t see her in the USA. As a Four Year Old and a mare too, she deserves the title of, ‘The World’s Greatest Racehorse'.
  14. American bred, French trained and Australian owned 'Americain' won the 150th $6Million Melbourne Cup. First American horse to do so.
