I have stayed at the Sabai Lodge, Ruen Thai room which i found very nice and the Sabai Wing which was also nice. I spent 3 weeks at the PBR last summer. I enjoyed the pool, the breakfast ( when i was up in time ) and the overall facilities, but I agree, the walls are thin and the hallway can be noisy. On the other hand, if you don't have an inconsiderate prick in the next room that blasts the TV and talks at above average volume, then it is one of the best hotels for the $$ IMO.

I can't see any airlines in their right mind approving use of mobile phones on flights. They may concede to allow SMS use assuming the user keeps phone in a silent or vibrate mode. Think air rage is bad now....

I have a gold ring, 14K band with natural gold nuggets I purchased in Alaska 15 years ago. I never wear it. Any recommendations of where I may a good price selling it in Pattaya? Thanks

I booked EVA from LAX-BKK for $836 inclusive of all taxes, no FF mileage credit. I was able to book all 777 service on EVA which is much nicer to fly than the 747's(IMO) Coming from the midwest (MCI) I am using the Southwest non stops at $169 RT, I had a credit that was about to expire so my total airfare was just over $900.
