Hi after a 2 year break from thailand and pattaya(can you belive i got bored with it after 13 visits in 2 years) i have now got the hunger back.Have booked with emirates for end september and as flying business class first leg have been offered the complimentary limo pick up.Can i ask has anyone used it?is it reliable?Dont want to be left trying to arrange other transport on morning im due to fly. Some of the superior rooms in queen vic have small balcony overlooking soi 6,i stayed in september after checking out penthouse,rooms were very clean and good size,with dvd player etc.

I cant remember the room number think it was 219,it was a room at the back with bathtub,pole dancing pole etc.

Wouldnt waste my money there,stayed in spetember was an overpriced cockroach infested dump,never had a room anywhere with so many roaches,didnt matter how many times sprayed the rooms,when you came back at night put the light on loads of them scrambling over the bed,checked out after a couple of days,the management dont give a shit. Ps the foods crap as well.

Im flying emirates today....cost £528 boooking direct with them could have got it for £480 with emirates through ebookers but i like to get the double airmiles for booking online.

Ive only flew with klm once and it was a disaster,flight form glasgow was delayed because toilet on plane wasnt working wich meant we missed connecting flight in amsterdam, after getting another flight next day reaching bangkok find i have no luggage!Lost in amsterdam airport somewhere took 2 days to get it to my hotel,maybe just unlucky but it put me off for good!Always fly emirates now never a problem and different class.

2001 i paid £280 manchester to bkk via frankfurt with lufthansa through priceline,only downside was a 7 hour wait in frankfurt on way out and 5 hour on return but paying peanuts what do you expect.
