What is the cheapest way to get to pattaya? I got into bangkok airport and everyone's got a way. I've seen some taxis for as much as 3000 to 1,500 baht. I've also been told of a bus to get there for under 1000. Can you of you salt dogs school a newbie???

From what i saw when i was there they only got one hotel on the whole island. Watch out for the prices of the ferry though. they got the price posted for falang which is 200 thb per person but i hab my thai lady pay the fee and they only charged her 20 thb a head

Thats a hard one to answer. On the one hand there is a want to help but on the other hand everyone hates feeling like they've just been hustled. I give something to one person and as I walk down the block I realize that there are about a hundred hands out looking for a hand out. it really breaks your heart to walk past some of these people but if you really want to do some good it's probably just better to give to a charity
