Helicopter Transfer Bangkok to Pattaya
Taxi replied to Taxi's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Well the helicopter mob never responded, my guess was it would be way to expensive for one or two people....... but was interested all the same. Can't wait for the new airport even though I also go to Bangkok for business. -
Aj, does there limo service come with a companion?
-
albaker, here's their email if you want to try them, I have not stayed there before but it looks good. info@sandyspringhotel.com
-
Albaker, I have used one of the online agents before, sorry can't recall which one, but one like the following. http://www.thaihotelsonline.com/pattaya.htm have to say they were really good, we had trouble finding something I wanted and they just kept coming up with alternatives, so some are good. Also, I have just booked Sandysping Soi 13, depending on what you want to pay, they may have something around 1,000 per night.
-
FKK, will be there 23 Oct if you want something, cheers
-
Patfan, you should also check with whoever your doing the booking with to China, perhaps with the extra legs they could do a better deal on both trips together. Cheers

Email I have for Flipper House on soi 7 is flipperptty@hotmail.com, hope this helps, cheers

Looking for a good hotel with friendly guest polic
Taxi replied to numan's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Sunny, thanks, I have shot them another note to see if they will give me the same rate as "my friend" received, I think they probably have higher occupancy now so will say no change, but am giving it a go anyway. Numan, you may want to take note of a few of the suggestions posted here, as a back-up plan, Penthouse Hotel you will either love for short term porno experience or be so different from anything you have every expereinced you'll long for more "normal" hotel. Cheers -

Torrenover, did Sandy Spring tell you they would discount suite by Bt 350....... I specifically asked them and they said discount was only for the cheaper rooms and they would not discount the suite. I think it looks like one of the best places in town so am going to give it a go. Thanks -

Yselmike, I assume you stayed at Sandy Spring, could you give me your opinion, thanks -
I'm easy either way, if I dont have a safe I leave most my money, passport etc. at the front desk safe. I travel with a suitcase that has a combination lock on it, I just put my wallet in there so my small money is locked in my room (say less than 15,000) ....in my suitcase and my important documents and cash are at the front desk. Last trip I lost the key to the front desk safe (stayed at the Pinewood which is almost opposite soi 6). I had to stand there for 20 minutes while they drilled the lock out, completly destroyed the lock. Think that cost me 2or 3 thousand, but did see how blood

Perfect Pattaya Hotel - help please
Taxi replied to torrenova's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Sorry I should have mentioned re Sandy Spring, I have never stayed there but currently have a booking, I have read on this forum and a few others very good reviews. If you look on their website the suite bathroom has a bathtub.... with shower attachment like almost all hotels in Pattaya and a walk in shower. My guess is all bathtubs have the shower as this is standard and it's the suites only that have walk-in shower. I think thats the confusion. -

Re the Penthouse question, Penthouse is really a 1 or 2 night porn star experience, personally I don't like it at all, is small, feels like a major fire danger, smells, the rooms are ordinary except for the novelty value..... but I did not see the really big party room. Should probably book elsewhere and drop around for a look would be my advice. -
PS, should have mentioned, this is about the best place I have found to work out airline schedules, who flies where etc. Cheers http://www.itn.net/cgi/get?itn/pl/amexconsumer/index
-
Alterego, actually they do both, they fly daily from LA to Tokyo then down to Singapore, and thru Europe via a few differnt routes (I think) London, Amsterdam & Franfurt from memory. If you can make the connections work then Singapore to Bangkok is only about 90 minutes. Cheers
-
Actually the big differences I find tend to be in the Biz Class product as economy generally just sucks no matter what airline your on. If you get Cathay with their "new" biz class (been implementing for the last 12-18 months) then they are outstanding. Best Biz class for mine are Cathay, Singapore and I like BA due to flat beds in business.

CC, I have just made a reservation, they are very quick with the emails and confirmed my booking within hours. Sorry like you have just read the reports and thought I would try it. Also, if your after a suite, they wont discount suites with the members deal they have, only the cheaper rooms. So I thought stuff it...... booked the suite as has walk in shower....... seperate bath, and sea views with big balcony, Bt2,500 sounds alot but convert to (for me) Aus dollars and it's about 90 bucks a night.......... I dont have enough holidays to worry about the cost. Cheers -
CM, OK, good ......lets have a beer, 20 !! ;D :PHow do you do that, I reckon 3 would be more than enough, infact two is just so good, maybe it gets exponentially better, hard to imagine but maybe worth a try......... Talk to you soon.......Cheers

I had a long argument with the night manager on this, he eventually let me take the girl into the hotel with no joiner fee but said any new girls I would have to pay. The following night I came home with another girl and briskly walked past with a wave, either they didn't notice or couldn't be bothered, after that I kept the same girl. I have stayed at Dusit, Marriott, Montiem, Flipper House and Eastiny Inn (or place can't recall) but Eastiny and Flipper are much better value for money, but are 3 star. I spend a lot of time in 5 star places and the Dusit anit one, it's a bit overpriced,

Yep thats me, I dont know how I missed the call as I had the phone on......... and unfortunately stayed in the hotel...... to be honest I ended up being sick as a dog with the flu in Bangkok, but we were both there on the same night, sorry it didn't work out for us to meet. Could have just been the Eden Club took all my strength and I didn't have enough left to fight off the flu. Did you have that experience? Maybe we could have a beer one afternoon, assume your still working in in North Sydney, would enjoy hearing about your escapades. Do you still have my number?

Thanks guys, I did say call me stupid, I was at Flipper House...... but you guys were also right, I was both distracted and inebriated :-[ I know the topic is Sabai Vs Flipper, but would anyone have comments on Flipper Lodge V Flipper House. I liked the staff, particulary the gaurds were good value, nice to the girls. I'm travelling in Asia in the next few weeks and am trying to fight the urge to get on a plane from Hong Kong and slip down to Pattaya for a few days........ Cheers
-
I have stayed at Flipper a thought it was great, although the beds are a bit on the hard side....... got sore knees. Call me stupid, but the massage girls, are they the girls in the little shop next to the elevator or do they come from somewhere else. I was there for about 10 days and obviously completly missed this. Thanks..........
