I am in Pattaya during November for a couple weeks and am considering this Hotel. Their web site indicates 950Bht for a poolside room. Any suggestions on how to get the cheaper rates someone has mentioned on here (350Bht now). [i am sure there maybe some less than serious suggestions too]. Previously (May) and last year I stayed in the Siam Sawasdee for about 750Bht (inc breakfast) booked through direct rooms. But now everything seems more expensive. Even when I visited the Hotel in May the rate was still around 700-800 Bht if I remember correctly, so not sure how some are lucky to get the 350Bht rate, the place seemed quiet in May and I doubt if it will be much better in November while the financial crisis continues. (maybe the Pound will be stronger) I got a good flight deal and now looking for the same on the hotel. Then I shall have more to spend on the finer things Pattaya has to offer. I would appreciate any views. thanks

For information. Singapore airlines have a good deal for november flights. Around £340 including taxes. Flight return £90 the rest taxes (crazy). Takes a bit longer but only a short stop at Singapore. I have just booked via netflights for my trip. This has got to be my cheapest deal to date. Hope it helps someone in these times.
