Cheers Torrenova, the more i look into it, the less appealing it becomes. Gonna have another look at flight costs from main London airports, or maybe Manchester, when taking into account overnight hotel stays and transport to and from airport it looks like a different way will work out cheaper in the end.

Anyone tell me the cheapest way from central London to Stanstead Airport please ? Gonna be flying Air Asia, so any reviews on them would be great :)

Yeah, Pat is sound, he will organise you a taxi from BKK also if you wish. I was in Loom 22, just one flight of stairs so it's easy enough when your hammered, not to bad for the girls in heals either. P.s I envy you like mad, cannot make it back 'til March

Stayed here from the end of may until 22nd June and had a great time. Had a large room with a balcony that overlooked LK Metro on the 1st floor. Great AC and a large washroom with an easily adjustable shower head that did a fine job when two or three of you were getting ready for bedroom antics. Because it is in the corner of LK you don't get as much noise as those up the street, so sleep was no problem at anytime, and with blackout curtains i could get my head down whenever i needed. The menu has been expanded and offers good value British & Thai food throughout most of the day. Bar prices are far from expensive and the selection is top notch. Some lovely girls work at the Rovers and will happily chat with you without asking for Lady Drink ets, watch them at pool though, one or two are pretty good ! Dom & Pat are excellent hosts and offer good experienced advice about various pitfalls and places to avoid. They also do one or two tours per week that are well worth attending, Ban Chang was an especially eye-opening experience. All in all i really enjoyed my stay and will be back as soon as i can

Leave it mate, plenty more places to stay round there, try LK Metro, not as noisy but plenty of bars etc and better priced.

May i thank the above named establishment for a great 1st night, could not make my mind up between two ladies, so they suggested i take them both, i did, and not one moments regret, last night will be a memory bank wank for years to come.
