  2. yep, just confirmed up with Pat by e-mail. great booking, get everything i need and a bunch of new pals who know the score and can advise me correctly. Really looking forward to it. From me sending an e-mail to Pat, to booking being confirmed, took less than 18 hours, would have been quicker but i have to sleep sometimes ! Thanks again for all the guys who gave reviews on the place, made my choice very easy !
  3. Sent an e-mail to the Rovers and within 12 hours got a reply from Pat. looks like i'll be a Rover for 3 weeks very soon.

  15. I stayed there in Feb this year. It's basic but adequate for what's needed. Bed was decent enough, towels were pretty ropey though. No shower curtain meant you had to make sure the bog roll was outside the door so it didn't get drenched. Staff, although polite, were always looking for a way to make money out of you. The maids came everyday and left two bottles of water in the fridge, which was good, but the fridge had two tempretures, warm or frozen solid. I doubt i would stay again as there is better and cheaper places for me to go, but as it was my first visit to Thailand i'd booked and paid in advance. Anyone with suggestions for a hotel/serviced apartment for my next trip in may/june for three weeks ? Thanks.

  17. i got a flight leaving Heathrow at 22:00 on friday 29th may direct to BKK landing at 15:35 with Qantas, coming back BKK 21st June 00:45 direct to heathrow landing at 07:00 for £404. cannot wait to get back to the wonder that is Thailand :)
