  1. The Jomtien Boathouse also has safes in all the rooms. Andy
  2. Hello Patk100 The Bel Aire hotel is located off the Sukhamvit Road, Soi 5 about 200 yards down the Soi on the right hand side. It is a nice quiet hotel about a three star rating I would guess. I have stayed three or four times with my TG and don't think she had any problems. I did however book a room for two people and gave her name when I made the booking. The staff are always friendly and it has a swimming pool which I think is on either the third or fourth floor. Andy
  3. I am staying at the Boathouse at the moment and I would agree with everything Don has said above. I have a room overlooking the bay with great views and even better sunsets if you like that sort of thing, the room also has a balcony. The hotel is new so the rooms and the whole place is spotlessly clean. They also have a live band playing most nights in the restaurant ( mostly middle of the road stuff) Price I am paying is 1100 baht a night for myself and my TG which includes an american breakfast for two. Usual price is 95 baht each for the breakfast. For this time of the year and this
  4. Mike, Why would you want to bring a cat to Thailand when the place is full of available pussy, morning noon and night !! Sorry could'nt resist that but if your question is not a wind up I'm sure that bringing a pet animal into LOS would be a lot easier than importing the same animal into the UK. As I understand it the UK has the tightest quarantine rules in the world (due to its desire to maintain its rabies free status). Just speak to the airline you are intending to travel over on. Regards, Andy
