Just got of the phone after calling up my usual hotel! (little duck) to make a reservation! but to my disappointment the lady answering the call couldn't guarantee two double bedded rooms! (the other room is for my mate) only single beds! but I can't be doing with single beds! she did say though that if she could book me the two double rooms! she would do so! but would be a 50/50 chance of that happening! but never the less! I went ahead with my reservation! Now, I am not relying on her coming up with the double beds! so I am going to make a reservation else where! just for stand by! so my mat

The hotel is at the bottom of the soi! and the tuk tuk will only take you up and down that soi! I found it a little bit of a walk! but thats just me! I am a lazy kind of guy! As for the differance in rooms! I can't really comment! I have only stayed in the standard! Stiffler.

No problems taking your lady back! (no joiner fee) and you can fit about 4 in the tuk tuk! if I remember correctly! Stiffler.

I am thinking of checking out Pattaya's near by Islands! on my next visit in April! because of it being Songkrat period! and having heard so many negative things about it! from you guys! If it does go pair shaped! I thought the other half and I can escape to the near by Islands for a day at a time! and catch some rays! and relax! Now I have been to Ko Larn (coral island) but wouldn't mind trying Ko Sak and Ko Krok! anyone of you guys been? if so! I would be greatfull for info regarding this! and also Nakula Beach! I bought a shit load of blue movies and the lastest movies that are not yet out at home! I bought them outside of a photography shop! on beach Rd! near soi pattayland 1! I had no problem with my copies! but my mate bought his down the road from me! and had nothing but problems! the reason being I bought from outside the photo shop was because I thought with it selling cameras, and digital shit! they would be good quality! Can anyone give me some useful information regarding travelling from BKK airport to Pattaya by bus! (air con) i.e cost, time and comfort! I have travelled to Buriram from Pattaya by bus! and that took around 8-10 hours! so I think I can handle 2-3 hours by bus to Pattaya! I usually take a taxi costing 1000-1500 baht! but I hear that the cost by bus only costs around 100 baht! so its a saving of around 1200! if you deduct taxi fare to hotel from Pattaya bus station! Hi Rocko, I have stayed at the little duck about 5-6 times now! and also will be staying there in April! around 7th-22nd! I have had no problem with the hotel what so ever! good size clean rooms! quiet air con! good tv with not too bad channels! stock up mini bar! loundry service! maid service every day! stayed in one room once! with the carpet being a little worn! but nothing to complain about! I manage to get a price of 600 baht! I try and ask to have a room over looking the pool! their pool is shit hot! they have a disco join on to it! they have a nice place to go and eat! called cafe

Hi Sparkey, The price of 800 baht! did not included breakfast! I don't think it did anyway? if it did I was never up in time, LOL! (around 4:00 in afternoon I wake) so I think it would be better to ask! Regarding the tv's! bedroom and lounge thing! every time I have stayed there! Anyone who is having trouble with their mobile phone! and want it de-barred or chip or whatever! try the second level at Big C! its a phone shop located near the black canyon coffee shop! my TG had a mobile phone de-barred which I gave her! it was barred from the uk! but they managed to do something to de-bar it! and to convert it to a Thai network for her! Last Christmas & New Years! I stayed at the Honey inn on soi 11, I think it was? what a night mare! fucking awful!!! rooms where dirty, small tv, they said breakfast was included! but I don't think anyone worked in the kitchens! not that I could see! anyway! thats enough about that shit hole! I like staying at the Little Duck Pattaya Hotel! on the central road! near topps! guest friendly, rate I paid was 600 baht! good snooker room, one of the best pools in Pattaya!
