No problem apart from the internet connection speed, which may cause PC to PC video call to drop the video but audio still works fine, although there are some wow and flutter as connection to Brazil is pretty rotten at both ends.

U Tapao Airport is to have a big revamp

The point I was trying to say is that they are talking about getting more than just a few chartered flights in, because they already get that anyway. Straight from the horse's mouth this time. But if the big players want to land here as a routine or alterative what would any of you have any say in the matter? Affinity One -

Do you know that U Ta Pao airport which is about an hour drive south east of Pattaya is going to have a big revamp. Its name is also going to change to UTa Pao Pattaya International Airport. would you guys choose to land at this airport instead of Suvarnnabhumi Airport? There was also some talks about promotion linking it to pattaya establishments, such as XX% of your accomodation and restaurant bills by just showing your ticket or bosrding paas. There were also suggestions of having Pattaya VIP card for those using this airport so that you get discounts of things you buy in Pattaya. Share y

Hi guys, It's me again. Last post received quite a few responses which are all very interesting. here is a new topic. You may or may not have heard of scandinavian village in Bangsaen and another one in Hua Hin or some where nearby. Right? As an xpat living abroad, be it Pattaya, surrounding areas, Bangkok or even elsewhere in Thailand and for that matter, the rest of the world ( but not you home country) Would you choose to have neighbours, or even the whole village, where you choose to live in, having people from the same home country as yours? and why? Ok guys It's becoming a private bout of "who's bigger than whom or what is called what when it should not be ( if you ask me)" kind of thing!!! From What I can gather from the replies there are as many as 3 times "FOR" than that "AGAINST" About half of all The "FOR" provided a little more variation of perhaps living in the surrounding areas. The like of Ban chang, Jom Tien. That means most people still would like to spend a couple of days ( or nights) a week in the heart of the action. ( Not just Bars, GO GO and getting drunk out of one's mind) but also the other attraction

Well, Hi all you guys, From what i read so far I gather that most of you are "Farang" that ome to visit Pattaya and enjoy the time spent here, and perhaps come back a few or more than a few more times. But would you ever consider living here on a permanent basis. Kinda retire in Pattaya???? ( although a lot of you may not consider yourselves as getting close to retirement age for at least a good few years at least!!! Affinity One
