hey guys, been looking for stuff thats happening over new year/xmas and found this on a site. "Pattaya, the City that never sleeps, is preparing the longest New Year celebration in Thailand. The event will happen at Bali Hai Pier, South Pattaya, daily from 18:00-01:00, from December 25th until December 31st, 2010."Is this a annual thing the bar does? just curious, if its any good thats all, as i cant find too much info at the places in Pattaya for parties and such over the 2 big days.? thanks Mick

i paid $1750aud return australia-bangkok, i left it late to book my flights so i expected to pay more. return flights to bkk from aus can be bought from $700aud and sometimes lower at certain times oh and my 1750 also included travel insurance too

Just booked with MR T for the 21stDec, my 1st trip to Thailand, so hope all goes well. I will be sure to check a few days before i leave Australia to make sure all is good.

Hello, ill be visiting Pattaya for the first time this year. Ill be there for christmas by myself, so just wondering if anybody knows if there will be anything happening, or places to go?? or if any other solo travellers would like to spend christmas with other solo visitors? I have friends joining me before New Years, but also if anybody knows of anything thats happening for the best places to go for New Years? Thanks Mick :-)

I will be staying there for 2 weeks over xmas/new year. a mate of mine stays there every year, he loves it. this will be my first time in Pattaya so looking forward to it. ill be by myself for the first week till my friends get there the week after. anyone looking to have a drink or something let me know. oh also, how far is sabai lodge to WalkSt, ive heard that its the main party spot, but also lots of bars near the lodge?
