agree with mike... no good hotels in jomtien beach, mostly shit stuff or full of russians... go to pattaya beach if you want nice hotels

depends what you are looking for... always plenty of seedy inns and motels available any day in pattaya... if you want a 3-4 star nice place near the beach it may be a bit crowded but even still, probably not booked full. its a busy time in thailand ads LAND of SMILES but its not like going to Time's Square in new york city on December 31 :)
