  1. I am looking for a house with minimum 2 bed/2 bathrooms. in the Chaiyaphruek 2 area (my daughter will be going to school there, in Neramit Village, from September). Around 25K max. Anywhere from the Darkside area south would be ok, as far as Jomtien. Somewhere quiet, a communal pool would be great. A private pool would be even better, but that might be a bit optimistic at my price! Internet access is definitely needed... I am a good, quiet and reliable tenant, and had a 5 month tenancy in Centre Condos South Pattaya last year - I'm sure the landlord would give a reference if requir
  2. Escaped the zoo (UK) 20+ years back, since then hopping between Provence and Thailand (Chiang Mai). Just starting the Pattaya experience for the first time...

  3. DD in-house is a minimum of two girls at a time, so that might make it a bit easier, but would still require the use of toys (with which the DD girls are well equipped ) As for Peckerwood's rant about ID and condos, I've had that conversation with John the boss, and they do take extreme care over the safety of their girls. Personally I've got no problem with it.
  4. Sorry to revive this rather tense thread, but I don't think I can PM members yet (I tried). I'm in a similar position, in that I need a casual babysitter/nanny for occasional evenings and weekends, live-out, from the end of this month (November) in central Pattaya, for a four month period until the end of March. Hope the flaming doesn't start up again - I'll just say that it's up to me to vet potential candidates properly. Thanks
  5. Really sorry, another offer came along, not much in it but I have to go with the condo
  6. Just lost the house I'd booked for four months, from November 24th. Landlord needs it for his family, flood refugees. If any local expat can help out by finding me a place to live, preferably LK Metro area where other place was located, minimum 2 but preferably 3 bedrooms, maximum 25,000 rent, I would be delighted to pay a finder's fee!
  7. Thanks - not too sure about the location to be honest, but I'll be in touch. BTW, I may have a car after all - suppose parking in the centre is pretty difficult?
  8. Have lived in a 3 bed detached house in Chiang Mai for just 10,000 a month, so don't expect anything in that price range... but urgently need to find a minimum 1 bedroom place - condo, apartment, house, I'm not fussy - easy reach of central Pattaya, for four months from December 1st. I'm on my own with a 3 year old, so it needs to be in a safe location. Haven't got a car, like to have most facilities within walking distance. Don't want to spend more than 15,000 a month. Don't need luxury fittings, just clean, minimum comfort, and good location. A studio would definitely be too small.
