I lived in the Cz Republic for 5 years and went there several times in the depths of winter and it is one the most lasting poignant places I have ever been to in my life. Somehow the feelings you get there is hard to put into words it may sound wrong but anyone who gets a chance should go there. Even seeing your pictures again made me feel the cold silent atmosphere and I’m sat here in my condo in Pattaya now. In a good way a very good reminder of how lucky we was and are not to have lived during that nightmare. Thanks for sharing.

BTW did you get chance to go into the Salt Mines also a very interesting place ?

Yes, did the salt mines. Those photos will come soon

    Hi! I'm new here🙂

Thaanks for the review, I'm thinking of booking that exact hotel as I plan to go mid-june. Are you aware if more than one guest is allowed in the room? For ST?

If you're talking about bringing a girl back, that fine. If you're talking about having a threesome, im not sure about that. I would imagine there would be another charge for bringing an extra person back.

Looks a bit 'poky' and with nowhere to lay out your suitcase, but obviously quite a nice (new) hotel.

In the first photo my case can be seen against the back wall. The photo is deceptive as I was on wide lense. There is more than enough space to keep your case down there, juts like I did.
The room is far from been “poky”

OK Thanks. I had some doubts because the BTS pics look strangely similar to Sanam Pao BTS.

By the way, cracking pics........I feel like I've done a virtual tour of the place.

The stop to look for is E18, stop is called Royal Thai Naval Academy. It's the same train line that goes through Nana and Asoke. takes roughly 30 mins from Nana on the BTS.

Looks like a great place to wander about. It's also looks like you had the place to yourself. Is it too new not many have learned it's open?

Very quiet on the skywalk side of the park, although I did see a few people up there. When you head towards the Benchakitti side of the park and the lake, it's a lot busier. Lots of Uni students yesterday taking what looked like graduation photos as their were all dressed up in gowns and hats.

Not sure how long it's been open actually. Guess that could be part of the reason. It's a big place so you must bring your own water and drinks. No cafe, which doesn't surprise me, but I would have thought maybe a few drinks vending machines towards the lake and park side of this area. Yesterday was 35oC when I did this walk. Not for the faint hearted!

The torn up bits don't start until farther down the soi.

And the worst of it is in front of Centara.
