  1. Have you tried Jades? This is on the left on the way to Jomiten before you get to the Pattaya Park traffic lights. They have a sign that you can see from the main road. It is, or used to be, a short time bar with few rooms. They might be up for letting you do what you have to do there. Pretty basic but it's a long time since I've been so things could have changed. Fond memories of a fantastic threesome there.
  2. Feb 08, 2010, 3:09 AM i just got back from 2 weeks stay in Jomtien Beach, and indeed, the Baht bus is only 10 baht from Jomtien to the stoplight in Pattaya, which is only a one minute walk to Walking Street. The return to Jomtien is only 10 baht also, you pick it up on the opposite corner of where you got off, just line up and get on the next baht bus, it will leave when it is full. I am as non-Thai as you can get, as are most of the tourist, and 10 baht is the price RHINO - FOUND THE ABOVE POSTING JUST FOR YOU. PROVES THE RATE WAS STILL 10 BAHT IN FEB 2010. I DIDN'T WRITE IT. YOUR STATEMENT ABOUT 10 BAHT AND MORE THAN 10 YEARS IS INCORRECT. HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ME POINTING THIS OUT TO YOU AND ALL THE READERS.
  3. Can assure you there is Rhino or was up until a couple of years ago. They leave from the end of South Pattaya Road between the school and Walking Street by the traffic lights. You get on and when the taxi (Baht Bus) is full, and people are hanging off the back, the taxi heads for Jomtien. You get off and pay. Last time I paid 10 Baht as I was with another farang who would never pay more. Maybe you can check it out tomorrow to see what the current rate is and then let us all know the score. Dont' you think? Enjoy your evening.
  4. That was you? Not sure if this could be described as racy content or not? But no doubt someone will come on and say they found your body fluids in the pool months later.(lol)
  5. I agree with your three statements 100%. Many times I've had the millionarie feeling and I keep going back just to get it again. I like it so I do it as often as I can. But in saying this I've also sat outisde the corner shop and drank 7/11 beer with friends many times. I've been in Go-Go Bars during happy hour, drank 2 for one and eaten free food. I've walked for 20 minutes ot get the 10 Baht taxi to Jomtien. Like many living here I have to watch my money but sometimes I like to treat myself and do. I have to admit that I quite enjoy it when my Mrs. decides to spend a few days in her village. As much as I love her I'm sorry to admit that I use these occassions to treat myself. I think I've tried most places, Soi 6, Jades, Bliss, Wilcome Inn, Soapy Massages, Soi Honey etc. etc. Although I've had some very good expereinces many have been too mechanical. To me they are similar to a visit to the Dentist for a tooth ache fix or the Doctors with an itch that needs scratching. So rather than just spend an hour getting fixed I like to chill out for three or four days. Sure I spend more but this is what I like to do.
  6. Danny put on a fabulous Xmas dinner at the Le Katai in Soi Lenkee. Started with a very good Prawn Cocktail and then a good old Xmas dinner with all the trimmings. Try it next year if you didn't enjoy yours.
  7. You guys crack me up. Enjoy your day. Frannie
  8. No problem cicero. Very excited about this journey with you and the rest of the guys. Enjoy your evening. Frannie
  9. Hi Rhino, Ah, take it you didn't like my first post. All that time an effort wasted on you even though I did give our favorite Issan girls a good plug. But all is not lost. The points I've made are for Kanchan and not you sir. FAKE - I really have never seen handcuffs in the hotel. If you did I hope you used them to your advantage. Did I make some FAKE statements? If I did then I would like to know what they are. The fact is everything I've said is true and it's up to Kanchan to check it out. So in Summary. Kanchan - Obviously I now have a negative reputation on this forum as my first post is a positive post about the Penthouse. This goes against the grain with many Thailand/Pattaya ex-pats. I hope you can lift yourself above this mentality and take a look yourself. Enjoy your stay in Pattaya. Rhino - What can I say to you and your guarantee? Predictable is probably the best word. Enjoy your day. FrannieBax - Having signed up I will try to use the forum more often and in a positive way that will entertain and provide knowledge to all members. Best wishes Frannie
  10. Anyone for Flip Flops? First thing I have to admit to is that I ‘Go Barefoot in the Penthouse hotel.’ Yep – I’ve come out the closet with this revelation. When I stay there I walk around my room (sometimes I stay in a suite) totally barefoot with my flip flops in the closet. Another admission is that I’m a touchy kind of person. I like to touch things and I have touched things in my room (sometimes I stay in a suite) and have lived to tell the tale despite staying there on a regular basis for the last ten years. I wonder exactly what things I shouldn’t have touched but there you go. For me this hotel is sexy, quirky and functional all at the same time. I’ve read that it’s a brothel but for me a brothel conjures up images of madams with whips, chains and handcuffs. I’ve never seem any of this stuff. I would say it’s more soft porn with the all the mirrors, love bars, love swing, flashing Christmas lights and porn channels etc. Sometimes I try a suite with a Jacuzzi which is also a plus. Yet another admission coming up. I love Issan girls and with the extra nourishment on offer I don’t have to wine and dine them. Only joking I do wine and dine them and enjoy intellectual conversation with them, building up chemistry, before we get down to any action. As for the action they do tend to like the rooms (sometimes I stay in a suite), forgetting about the extra nourishment, and the action is normally pretty hot even if I do say so myself. Other things to enjoy are. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free tea and coffee in the rooms/suites, free cold towels, free candy in the rooms/suites and all over the hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable with mattress that are more than 10 inches thick and they are big enough for about six people. Two free joiner fees and security will make sure all joiners are old enough to be joining you and keep their ID cards. The restaurant offers a full menu 24/7 and room service is also available 24/7 with the same menu. Maids are on call 24/7 as well so you can wake up when you want and get your room cleaned whenever you want. They are currently upgrading the front of the hotel to accommodate the sun deck and outdoor spa pool on the second floor. I’ve recently stayed in one of the second floor rooms (214) that leads to the sun deck. Both room and sun deck are outstanding. So, don’t be put off by comments about an old hotel. It might be old but the owners are giving it a lot of tendering loving care. As for star rating it’s a boutique hotel and my understanding is that the normal hotel star ratings don’t apply. I could be wrong. For me the value is extremely good so I give it five. Take a look khun kanchan and enjoy Pattaya.
