For software and DVD lovers another place in Bangkok which should be mentioned is the Fortune Hotel. Address, 1 Ratchadaphisek Rd, Dindaeng, Bangkok. I think its the 3rd and 4th floor which have loads of adjoining stores offering everything you may require. I have yet to come across a dud program or poorly copied or faulty DVD . Prices are similar to Pantip. As for the store on 2nd Road Pattaya I was there mid January 2004. They keep 4 folders of softwear titles upstairs and will need 1 day to burn your selections.

During the high season do the price of the girls and the shopping (clothes, souvenirs and food) increase along with the price of the hotels ? If so by how much ?

I found the traffic in pattaya really dangerous(crazy baht bus drivers cutting you off, motorscooters, cars, pedestrians, dogs, and potholes in the roads) travel insurance is recommended. So

I went to a Kodak store in Big C in north Pattaya I paid 200baht for 128mb stick. It took just 15 minutes.
