  1. But you did pay for it! 800bht is cheaper than staying at the Nana. ???
  2. Can't understand your logic Roland. Why would you not bother staying in a hotel that you've already paid for just because they have a joiner-fee? It would have cost you more than 800bht to stay at the Nana. Personally,I reckon the Bel-Aire is much nicer than the Nana, although I admit, not as convenient!
  3. MBK is short for Mah Boon Krong,a big shopping centre in Bangkok.

  10. Does anyone know how long a vaild Orange 'Just talk' pay-as-you-go SIM will stay operational without being used? I normally purchase a SIM card when I arrive in TH. However my mate is coming back to the UK at the end of December and he says I can have his SIM (with some credit left). I shall not be in TH until February,so will the SIM still be operational? This would be useful as I can let friends know what my number is before I leave the UK,thus saving me loads of money texting them with the number when I get there.! Does anyone know what I'm going on about? ??? Then again,do I want all his Thai laydeez phoning me when I'm there? Yes! [smiley=3some.gif]

The one's I bought there are made of bamboo and are nicely carved. They also came in a pleasant dispenser with a pink lid. 12Bht a pot of 200.(Tokyu dept store,BKK.Next to the joss-sticks). Perhaps you could sell them to your local restaurants. If you make your millions, remember me ;D
