The construction will apparently be of two buildings one a 5 storey and the other an 8 storey building and won't be finished until next year. The new hotel will be called SC Palace. They reply to emails but dont expect a prompt reply.

Makes u wonder how they have full occupancy with all that noise and dust flying around, especially as there is plenty of other optiions. Perhaps they are giving cheaper deals to those who ask to leave?

Ok thanks mate, not booking up till later in the year so hoping the construction is finished by then. Have u ever stayed in the deluxe large pool rooms.. if so they any good?

Wow, think I would of changed hotel if that happened to me.. I take it all your valuables were locked up in the safe? Is it different management at sabai wing and sabai lodge? Also how is the construction at the top of the soi.. is it nearly finished?

So did you end up having to produce a cc or did they let u pay cash at the end of your trip?

Looks to me like the construction is still in its early stages Any clues as to what is going up there? Sea Me 3 perhaps?

I wrote an email to Sea Me Spring Too about the construction noise and they informed me that in November the construction will still be ongoing so at least they are honest about that. You can also get cheaper rates by going direct with hotel and buying membership for 350 baht which gives discount of 300 baht per night.
