2.000.000 baht is enough to last you a couple of years of partying. Some guys manage to scrape by on 40,000 a month. But I wouldnt fancy trying it. 2mil can last a loong time provided your careful. If youre on youre own you can easily get a decent condo for around 5,000-10,000 per month, that dive shop is taking the piss asking for 22,000 unless there putting you in a brand new condo with all the trimmings.

I've seen condos in that price range going in View Talay 1. Both rental and purchase. 28sqm-33sqm if i recall.

I'm in view Talay 1 at the moment and theres never been a day without water thankfully. Doesn't seem toi be affecting Jomtien.

I dont think you'll find a Thai who doesnt want a tip not in a restraunt or beerbar anyway. However I once tried to tip the local electrician in my condo but he was having none of it.

I was issued the Triple entry Tourist Visa last year in Hull. With 30 day extensions it lasted about 9 months. This year I opted for the Non immigrant O which just requires you provide a sponsor letter to bail you out if you get in 'trouble'. I recommend this as it allows multiple stays of three months rather than the two months Tourist visa. Then you dont have to spend 1900b on extensions and only need a Visa run every three months. Thats if your staying for a long time. The service is great in Hull in and out in 20 minutes.

Hi im just wondering how much was the installation fee for the satellite package? im in the same situation as many seem to be needing a permanant unlimited internet connection. has anyone any information on how reliable the satellite connections are any information is appriciated.
