Looking at flights for next June and Turkish coming up cheapest at £550 Was wondering can anyone tell me if they are worth a try, normally the cheapest is the best option for me as I like to spend more on the holiday. Now that wasn't a bad way of thinking when the cheapest airlines were emirates and Etihad but they are coming in at over £700 What are your thoughts please

After reading the replies so far here is what decision I have made. I'm gonna bring her The way I see it is, pattaya is gonna make or break a relationship and I'm hoping it will make it. I mean some of the pics of mine and stories most girls would of run a mile so things are pretty promising so far. Now if she loves it I will be rubbing shoulders with you guys again in the future If she says it was ok but not my cup of tea go on your own next time that's a bonus. If she hates it I will go to phuket lol And if we split up over it then I will be back to traveling to pattaya with just my pals or myself again. (it's not the end of the world) But I think something I have to remember is whatever the out come of this trip it would be good to know it before we take our relationship in the uk any further like having kids or marriage. My first trip to pattaya I was 21 I'm now 29. I have always been hooked on the place totally addicted. I have ruined relationships back in the uk because I wouldn't settle down I didn't see a need to never have. Now things are different I have been with my new girl in the uk for 1 year. She is great we have a very open relationship and she knows exactly what I have been getting up to in pattaya over my 8 years. She loves looking at my photos and and videos and check this out her dad is a pattaya addict who comes out twice a year. Now her dad is still with the mum so I have never asked what he gets up to lol. So here is my question, next year is my 30th and me and 3 of my pals are coming back over to pattaya to celebrate but now my girlfriend wants to come too. Do I risk it i have nothing to hide but will I scare her off ? Will I put her dad in a difficult spot ? Will she feel uncomfortable in the surroundings ? what are your thoughts Cheers guys

Hi there 3 of us will be arriving in pattaya on the 3rd of january and staying till the 15th of january. We are looking at staying somewhere for roughly 500 to 800 baht a night. Would we need to book our hotel in advance or would we be able to find an hotel by just walking in and asking if they have 3 rooms available. Any info would be great. cheers.

i have booked over the internet 6 rooms for the sandy springs hotel in april but have not payed yet until we arrive. i know about the construction works on soi 13 and have currently being looking at other hotels. do you reckon the noise will be unbearable in the sandy springs and that i should book somewhere else. if so which hotel do you reccommend i should stay that will cost me around 1200 baht a night or cheaper. somewhere close to walking street would be preferable. i would of liked to stay at the sandy springs as it gets good reviews but i would give it a miss if it going to keep me awake all night. thanks any replys appreciated.

i know this gets answered all the time but i will be staying at the sandy springs hotel on soi 13 in april and was wondering if the noise is still bad from the construction works. or do you think the works will be finished by april. thanks

i will be staying at the dusit resort at the beginning of august and was unsure of how close the hotel was to the main nightlife. i know that walking street is further down south but was not sure if it was walking distance or if it was definitely a baht bus ride. just an approximate guess of how long to walk it and how long it takes on the baht bus. cheers.
