Hotels with Remote controlled Air Conditioning
weaver93 replied to weaver93's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
I feel that I need to respond after reading such drivel ,from a person who doesnt even intend to visit Pattaya. Why have you replied to the post, when you obviously have nothing of any substance to offer?? I merely asked for aircon with remote,as USUALLY these are new units, that produce clean air!! For me been lazy, I can assure you I am most definately NOT!! The Royal Twins hotel, has ancient air con, these are not single units, but these are built into the ceiling.and are not cleaned, which are belching out impurities, which are making the residents ill. About changing hot -
Hotels with Remote controlled Air Conditioning
weaver93 replied to weaver93's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
The reason, I posted this, was because the previous hotel's air con was so old and was never cleaned!! i want a nice room, with newish air-con installed- hence the request for remote air con - Try reading the post !! -
Hi, Can anyone recommend a hotel, for about up to 1500 baht per night in the Second Road area, with air con, controlled by remote? I stayed at Royal Twins Hotel in June, and the air con was terrible My mate was ill and had a fever, I asked the hotel, if I could have a fan, they repled "No,you have to go to Big C,and buy one" The hotel, has great rooms, but unfortunately the management, are not keeping the hotel up to scratch - so to speak. Does Areca,Sandy Springs,or Whitehouse have air-con with remote control? Any advice, greatly appreciated gents. Cheers Mi

I've flown direct with EVA,Thai and BA Qantas. Best indirect flight in my opinion, is Emirates - food aok, inflight entertainment is good too. Best direct flight, is Thai for me,as arrival times in Heathrow is paramount. Food ok, inflight entertainment is average. Etihad flown twice,as they were a cheap price - once was a nightmare,as they were changing their fleet, and we were shuttled onto an Air Iberian airline. As i live in the north of England ,we are very restricted in direct flights due to evening arrivals at Heathrow. However.......... Thai operate 2 daily flights i

unbelievable price for December flight. £439
weaver93 replied to johnson's topic in Airline Discussion
A few months ago, i trawled the internet for a cheap flight over the Xmas period. Usually the flights are £800 upwards - pre -christmas and returning January. The cheapest I could find was £596 with ETIHAD, from London on 21st December till January 10th. So i'm very satisfied with that price, and i'll be satisfied again in 8 weeks!! I flew with Etihad last year in September for £299 ,and was pleased. Best overvall value is definately EMIRATES,but was impressed with Thai airways this May for £365. Regards Mike -

Hi darbs i got a tattoo in pattaya last October. i went to this place, very clean- all to western standards http://www.thaidragon.com/Index2/Thaiman/titel3.htm its more expensive than other tattooists in pattaya, but your health is paramount! my tattoo cost £90,but it took 6 hours!!! cheers mike -
Hi I would DEFINETELY recommend Royal Twins Hotel! I've been to Pattaya numerous times, and on my last 3 visits, i've stayed there! The rooms are VERY spacious, and at 850 baht per night its a bargain! If you wish to upgrade to a Junior Suite, its about 1050 baht per night, again depending on your budget! I've stayed in hotels for 500 baht, but to pay an extra 350 b for this hotel -is worth it! If you are unsure, book for a couple of nights, and see what you think! Guest friendly? - no problem! - the only time, when eyebrows were raised, when my friend had THREE girls on his

My flight last year was £378 from Heathrow, with ETIHAD. Food was good,leg-room acceptable - Best part was only 90 minutes in transit in Abu Dhabi! As I would rate it, not far behind Emirates! - however, I would'nt pay an extra £150 to fly with Emirates. I would definetely book with Etihad again!
