  6. I have lived in Pattaya for 8 years. I own a condo, car and motorcycle. If I die, what needs to happen for my family to come over and sell all my stuff? Is there any kind of Probate etc. or if you have a will is that sufficient? Thank you in advance...
  7. I take a 1000 mg valarian root capsule at night as a sleep aid. Anyone know of a shop in Pattaya that sells it? Thanks in advance
  8. I need some help. I just broke up with my Thai wife and I am really hurting. I need to find something to do to keep my mind off her and my pain. Things are financially tight at the moment so I need something that is Cheap!!! Are there any groups, clubs, organizations that might need some help during the day etc??? Thanks in advance..
  9. Thanks for all the replies. I am doing a promissory note for the amount. I will do both English and Thai Translation. Both will be notarized and included in the divorce papers at the Amphur. That way, it is "registered" as part of the divorce should I have to take further action later.
  10. My wife and I have decided to divorce. She is 25 and I am 67. We have been together almost 5 years - married less than a year. Over the last couple to three years I have give her and her family around 500,000 baht. She has 3 dress shops around Pattaya. She has agreed to pay 12,000 I recently borrowed from a friend for her.. Also 52,000 I told her I had borrowed from my brother. She has also agreed to pay me back 150,000 for all the money I gave her to open the shops etc. Do I need to have some legal document related to this BEFORE I do the divorce. I know that 50% of everything acquired AFTER the marriage can be split. Her shops are just getting started, so it wouldn't do me any good to force her to sell them and split 50/50. I just want to be sure that if she changes her mind later on, I can be protected and get my money back... Thanks in advance for any HELPFUL replies... Wankers and Trolls, keep it to yourself.
  11. I am confused about the financial requirement for the retirement visa. do you need to have 800,000 in the bank AND 65,000 baht a month income? Or, is it like the marriage visa where you just have to show the income? Thanks in advance.
  12. My visa is up and I need to get a retirement visa. I have read on some of the boards about agencies that you can go to and pay for them to put the 800,000 in an account in order for you to get a visa. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it. There is some urgency. Thanks in advance.
  13. My wife has a shop in the Market. She is the owner, but it isn't a company. Can I get a work permit to help her out at times? Thank you in advance...
  14. Thanks for the offer, but I am looking for a regular source to replace my antacids.
