  2. I stayed there long time back and it is a good hotel with Walking street just close by. I assure you it is a guest freindly hotel and they have a massage parlour down...However, it is located in the Arab sector, so if you are not bothered then it is OK. Seebnova
  3. I have flown Gulf Air once going to Bangkok and thats from Oman. I can say it is OK and it was a direct flight. However, I found the flight to be too noisy as there were alot of Indians on board with their babies. Since then fly with Thai, although it is not a direct flight but more pleasant and most of the time it is not full.

  6. I have been in Thailand many times during what you claim to be the rainy season, June to October. But so far I cannot figure it out why this is rainy season period. Last September I was in Pattaya for full two weeks and it rained only twice. Yes it rained heavily but only twice in two weeks. My understanding of rainy seasons is that it drizzels most of the time with thunderstroms from time to time. ??? Seeb
  7. I was in Pattaya between 6-21 Feb and my obsevation is that they were more of family tourists then usual and less of single tourist then usual. The streets were full of normal tourists , families, couples, couples with thier parents and ofcourse those Asians who travel in groups. I hate walking behind them, they just walk slowly and block the way while I am in need to reach my distenation very soon for a beer or five. The hotel which I stayed in was almost full, normally I see only the single tourist stay in the hotel but this time was differetn, alot actually, even Indian couples were the
