  1. I believe all of the President Group hotels (Grand, Park, Royal) offer high speed internet access. I used it at the Royal President and it was reasonably priced with good connections.
  2. I've stayed at both the Residence Garden and Mark-Land. The rooms are nicer and bigger at the Residence Garden. The Mark-Land is at a much better location IMHO, probably the best views of Pattaya, and they provide a good buffet breakfast. The Mark-Land and Residence Garden are both very guest friendly. I'll probably stay with the Mark-Land because of location.
  3. I stayed at the Siam Bayshore once about a year ago and guest were allowed for an extra 600Baht joiner fee. Some have said there's no joiner fee if you book a double room. If you plan on bringing ladies back to the room daily I would suggest you find another place, the Bayshore is more of a family type hotel.
  4. I stayed next door at the Mark-land for about the same price and would recommend it. There's an excellent Thai restaurant Somsak(sp?) about 100' up the Soi from the Mark-land, check it out.
  5. Marley, Do all the rooms at the Mark-Land have balconys and have ocean views? TopDog
  6. I made a reservation there for the end of November, the rate the hotel quoted me was 1320Baht/night, including tax and breakfast. Their email address is: markland@loxinfo.co.th
  7. I used it the last time I was there and will use it again. There were only two of us who signed up for the 12:00am ride so they used a van instead of a bus. The driver was willing to take us directly to our hotel in Pattaya for a few extra Baht.
