Pretty much the only advantage I can see that might be worth it is the individual screens, leg rest and room to stand. Well I'm short, have my own laptop with a dvd player in it and got a seat with a power port (and extra batteries) and can easily sit for 11 hours (I can sleep anywhere). I'm flying out on the 11th will be in Bangkok at about 1:40 in the morning for 13 days of heaven. Anyone gonna be on my flight ??

On thier website, under the hot deals section. 790 roundtrip from lax. I had to go the cheap route and fly economy (it's all about the time spent there not how you get there) hot e-fares

That's mostly the philosophy I had about it and being short (5'6") I don't think I'll be needing much extra legroom. Plus the 200 bucks difference will be well spent. :)

Well one more question, with the internet deals at EVA right now for a january flight ($560/econ or $790/Deluxe) the question becomes which to take. Yes I know the deluxe is without a doubt better if you need the room but some of us are kinda short and the more you save getting there the more you can spend while there. So, what is the main difference in comfort & amenities for upgrading to deluxe ?

A wireless mouse really is the only choose just don't go cheap on it or you will be throwing it across the room every time you need to reset the signal. A good one should run you about $20-25 (u.s) and it will be worth every penny.

I've seen that as well. Can't hurt to try and save a little more to spend when I get there ?

Wow, everyone seems to have their own personal ways of finding their tickets but overall I guess it starts with hit Travelocity to get the best days/rates and then on to your individual preferred carriers for a bit of haggling. Never been happy with SWA but if it'll get me to the airport quick and easy for my flights then it'll have to do. (It's only a 3 hour flight to LAX, I can take it) If anyone is gonna be in town at the end of January let me know, first drinks on me. (Still trying to pick the exact dates but last part of january is definately a part of it)

I'll be flying out Dallas (or LAX if things work out and I get a cheap ticket there). I'm pretty sure I'll try to fly EVA air, the reviews seem pretty consistent that it's a great airline to fly. Mostly what I'm looking for is a good discount seller that can get a better price than what's on EVA's website, even though the prices there aren't that bad.

Hello all, New to the site and first time poster have a General question for you. Looking through the airline deals I've gotten plenty of recommendations for carriers and it appears that Eva is a great airline to fly with good prices. However I've checked the website for costs and a few other sellers and there's a lot of of variation in prices. For those that fly that airline which site tends to have the best deal for purchasing tickets. Looking forward to my first trip, can't wait.
