  1. well we turned up at VFS yesterday to receive the result of our visa application and as I have stated before I was not confident as over twenty pages of mainly financial documents had been omitted from the application. it stated visa refused due to not enough proof of funds,V4.2 (e) of appendix V before my wife had received the result I asked the VFS staff why some of the critical documents were not forwarded on to UKV1. (I have lodged a complaint the day after we realised what they had done, and as you cannot contact VFS or UKV1) it appeared a more senior staff member came to the des
  2. i have since found out that VFS has no right to remove any documents but they have done this before as they by removing key documents are making it near immposible to atain a visa, i have lodged a formal complaint, the fact that they only agree to reply within twenty days is not reassuring but i will contact the british consul direct as i have had dealings with them in the past and have found the staff more than helpful. and if needed i will contact my mp in england as i have in the past with good results. i will also let people know to check their folders before leaving the VFS office as

  4. well we went for the wifes interview at VFS in Bangkok on the 15/06/2016 and it seemed to go ok with very few questions asked by the two VFS staff who spoke to the wife. and we headed home and when i took the envelopes out of the plastic folder i was supprised to find that a few important documents had not been passed on to the embassy, including our thai bank statements my english bank statement. the letter confirming our place we are staying during the holiday. the letters from my family explaining the excitement my eight grandkids are going through because they have seen her on skype a
  5. hi folks, just a simple question does the thai bank accounts mine and hers need to be translated as mine has my name and address in English and is stamped and signed by the bank (kasikorn) my main account is an English bank account and is obvously in English and has sufficent funds to cover a three week holiday visit visa. we have an appointment on the 15/06/2016. thanks for any help.
