Hi, I`m booked in the The Pinewood in June in the 3 bedroom penthouse suite.I`ve searched all the forums and the web and all the reviews seem to be at least 2-3 years old,although not bad reviews. Has anyone stayed here lately that can tell me if it`s still a good place to stay? Anyone one got any recent photos of the place? We usually stay in a guesthouse but fancied a change. Hi guys, Does anyone know of any good guesthouses or hotels that have a reasonable monthly rate, up to about 10,000 baht? I need 3 rooms , preferably in the Buakhao area .I have stayed there many times but wanted to know if anyone could recommend a nice place.I`m not too bothered about a pool just so long as they are clean,much preffer the beach anyway! shane_sangthip#1

Hi, the rooms used to be ok, but last year when i checked the rooms out they were worn, musty & need of redecoration, shame really as many of my mates have had enjoyable stays there. You are also allowed to use the pool in the Diana Estates at no charge, it is situated next door to Diana Millenium. Also, they used to have great "Happy Hours" in the restaurant there, where you could get pissed up on the cheap, but dont know if they have them anymore. Arai Gadai (UP TO YOU). Hi, stayed at The Stags Head in November 2006, rooms are ok at 500B a night. The owner, a guy from Newcastle is a decent bloke. Rooms are cleaned everyday, tv, air con, good showers & digital safe. The only problem i had was that there were ants everywhere in the room, getting in the bedding & your clothes. Apart from the minor problem with the ants, its a good place. Try to get a room facing the soi as you get a balcony to watch the world go by. Hope this helps, Mr Sangthip. Chog Dee.

Hi Seabass, there are loads of places on Soi Buakhao mate, decent & clean to. Try checking the reviews section here in the forum. From memory, there is a place called Thompson House, others include Shearers Guesthouse, Diana Millennium, Diana Estates, Le Katai etc. You can also find rooms in the adjoining soi,s, such as Soi Lengkhee, Soi LK Metro & Soi Chaiyapoon. If your looking for more central, Soi Yamtato has a place called Sa Apartments which i can recommend, or you could try Soi 13 which has an array of accommodation to suit your needs. Yeah, this is one fuck off tablet of a plane!!!. I live near the factory in North Wales where the wings are built. The Beluga plane is always flying around here taking various parts of the A380 to France etc. Just a thought, when the airlines buy a fleet of these monsters, what will the price be for our whoring tickets? they gotta recoup their money somehow. I think you are both looking for the Jasmine Mansions, which is situated on Soi Buakhao. There is a small web page explaining a few things price, location etc. They expect their website to be up & running shortly. Just type in Jasmine Mansions Pattaya on your search engine & you will come across the info. The "other" Jasmine Hotel is situated on Soi BJ, a small soi off Walking Street in South Pattaya.
