  1. Better late than never. Done. Happy Birthday, Dave!
  2. Like you would know what that was about.
  3. Damn. I am getting post by post updates immediately. My mailbox is full of them. What's your secret?
  4. This is her first mention of it not filling in the password. I thought the issue was that she had to log in each time (a cookie issue usually). Remembering passwords is a different kettle of fish, and needs to be addressed based on the browser type. Also, aussiechic, I recommend you google "roboform". Great program for not having to email and call people when you forget your passwords.
  5. I gave what I thought might the origin earlier in the thread. The Sopranos first aired in 1999. If any of those clubs were open before that, then that would disprove the idea the term came from the club in the HBO series. Maybe the author of The Sopranos got the idea from one of the clubs listed. Failing to certify either, I guess we can go with Bushcraft's derivation.
  6. I've tried it and it doesn't appear to work. I set DAILY DIGEST, clicked the email boxes, and then SAVE. When I go back to that page DAILY DIGEST is not set, but NONE is. I also started getting notifications immediately for every post quoted, replied to, etc. I'll follow it up with Invision, because I think the software's handling of notifications is broken.
  7. Or maybe this club http://www.au.timeou.../2895/bada-bing , eh? or this one? http://www.ftlauderdalelimo.com/bada-bing-limo.php or it just might be this one? http://www.thestripclubsearch.com/tabid/150/xmmid/525/xmid/1281/xmview/2/Default.aspx
  8. Maybe...the Wikipedia commentary is:
  9. I was thinking they were The Sopranos fans. That's the name of the sleazy strip club they hung out in.
  10. Uma Thurman.
  11. Great Balls of Fire (and no, this is not about papillon's frequent trips to the clinic in AC).
  12. That chat link is broken. I need to remove it. For chatting, the Bar Webcam link takes you to a very active chat area, at least it's active while the bar is open, but it can be used anytime. You do need to register a user name when you go to that page though.
  13. Sam, it's been used dozens of times for various satires, a few of which are already on this site. Still, I thought it was funny this time too. What about Noi and the lifetime barfine?
  14. I sometimes spot a customer sitting alone and ask the mamasan why that guy is sitting alone. I always get the answer "He no want lady". I say "Did you ask him?" and she'll tell me that either some hostess approached him, or she asked herself. I do have my doubts sometimes. I'll follow up on this to see what's up. I'd not like it to happen to you again, unless that is your choice.
  15. Try clicking on USE FULL EDITOR at the bottom of the post entry area....been that way for ages. That will bring up the post and the title area (if it is the opening post).
  16. If you want to buy drinks, we now have a new payment processor solution. Our site accepts ThaiAccess Gift Cards from www.thailandpaymentexpress.com - Simply go to http://www.thailandpaymentexpress.com, register (one time) for an account, then purchase a gift card for the amount you want. They accept Paypal and any payment method supported by Paypal. Within a short time, you will receive two emails. The first will confirm your order, and the second will contain rather long number that is your gift card number. You then redeem the card on this http://webcam.flbbar.com site using the Redeem Gift Card link on the left hand menu. Place the number you received in the email in the card number field, and your balance will be topped up. Let the chat moderator know what you want to buy and who you would like it to go to, and your balance will be adjusted. Note that when you register on that ThailandPaymentsExpress website, your shipping/billing address are not important - you can just make something up if you want.
  17. I've been reliably informed that the 26th of Nov, this year, is a Saturday. I made the same mistake on the party banner, and was promptly corrected. If you want, I'll change your title.
  18. I seem to notice when I switch browsers to access the site, I have to log in again. Not sure, haven't run a test to see, but definitely have to log in sometimes when I change browsers, even if I was logged into that browser before.
  19. Okay, I don't know what to say other than check that your cookies are being kept across sessions. How you do this depends on the browser you are using. If you are cleaning your cache and cookies when you close your browser, then it will continue to happen. I can say, it doesn't happen ... EVER ... to me, and I have no special "keep logged on" privileges, so it's possibly something in your setup.
  20. Yeah, that's a "bug", but Invision says it's a problem with Flash, and has closed the problem as "Not our problem". The solution to that is to drag the scrollbar down a bit, and then the login page remains, but the advertising banner is dragged "up", off screen.
  21. I have seen this happen on earlier versions of the software. It's usually a connection related problem where some images don't load and it just skips them. Refreshing the screen can frequently reload all the images. What I'm after is problems that are unique to this version of the software.
  22. Do you have the "Remember Me" box checked?
  23. That really doesn't do it for me. Can you do a screen capture (like a .jpg or .png)?
  24. Can you upload a screen capture of your notification page? I'll duplicate it and see what I get.
